Rookies Opening Spiel

Calling all curling newbies! Find your way to Barrington Regional Curling Club.
Join us for our Curling Day in Nova Scotia Rookies Spiel.
This fun bonspiel is made just for you with teams of up to two regular league curlers playing with two curling newbies!
New curlers who played in last winter’s Rookies Closing Spiel are eligible to play as rookies again this time around, so come on back!
This year’s theme is “Curling Day in Nova Scotia” so break out your tartans and sou-westers, and come have a Bluenoser good time!
One day only – Saturday, November 7, 2025.
Club opens for coffee at 8:30 am.
Instruction for rookies at 9:00 am (optional).
Curling games start at 10 am.
(Times are approximate based on number of sign-ups.)
Play three 4-end games.
Fun games and prizes all day.
Lunch included. Snacks all day.
$100/team ($25/curler).
If you’re interested in curling but don’t have a team… let us know and we’ll get you a team to play on.
