Join The Scotian Shores Clean Up Project for a hands-on evening of ropework in Barrington as part of Lobster Crawl 2026.
During this adults-only workshop, participants will learn how to transform reclaimed and repurposed fishing rope into beautiful, functional coasters and trivets. This is a relaxed, creative night that celebrates coastal culture, sustainability, and giving marine materials a second life.
All rope will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own if you’d like to work with a specific colour or texture. No prior experience is needed—just come ready to learn, create, and connect.
Space is limited to 15 participants, so RSVP is required.
Cost: Pay What You Can (suggested $20)
When: February 21, 2026 | 5:00–7:30 pm
Where: Wesley Heritage Community Centre, Barrington, NS
This workshop is a great way to support environmental stewardship while creating something uniquely coastal to take home.
