Bundle up and join us for Lucy’s Coastal Crawl Beach Run, a winter beach run like no other—part of the Nova Scotia Lobster Crawl SHELLebration!
This fun beach run takes you the length of Stoney Island Beach and back (approximately 2 km), with salty air, winter waves, and plenty of Lobster Crawl spirit along the way. Whether you run, jog, or walk, this event is all about getting outside, having fun, and celebrating winter on the South Shore.

A quick note on participants
This run is designed more for older youth and adults. During Lobster Festival in June, we host the Tinker Run, so we wanted to offer something a bit different—a winter beach run for older participants.
That said, if you feel your child is comfortable running or walking the full length of the course, by all means, sign them up! We trust you to make the choice that feels right for your family – we do ask that you stay with your child if they are under 10 during the run.
