Escape the Museum: Heist!

For a limited time only, the Shelburne County Museum is thrilled to present ‘Escape the Museum: Heist!’, a new escape room experience to test your powers of observation, deduction and stealth. In this immersive, 60-minute adventure game, players will attempt to find clues and solve a series of puzzles to “escape” before time runs out!
The Setting
A unique exhibit showcasing a collection of works by A. McGuffin, a world travellor and celebrated alteration artist, whose distinguished career spans the globe and five decades.
The Mission
For you and your ragtag team of thieves to liberate ‘The Steal’, a priceless and bejewelled work of art protected by a sophisticated security system. You will have 60 minutes to complete this mission and escape before the next patrol by museum security.
The Team
– A group size of 4 players is recommended (minimum 2, maximum 6). As this experience is rated beginner level difficulty, solving the puzzles with a smaller group may be more challenging than with a larger one.
– Children aged 10+ are welcome. We recommend that at least half of your team be adults.

– Location: Shelburne County Museum, 20 Dock Street, Shelburne.
– Escape the Museum: Heist! will open Fri 13 Feb 2026 and will run Fridays to Sundays through February, March, April and May 2026.
