Staged by Icarus Theatre, one of the leading voices in Toronto’s independent theatre scene, CONSTELLATIONS, by Nick Payne, is a two-person play that explores the infinite possibilities of a relationship between a beekeeper (Roland) and a quantum physicist (Marianne) through the lens of multiverse theory, showing how small choices can lead to vastly different outcomes, from love and marriage to heartbreak and illness, all within a non-linear, cyclical structure. Constellations has been staged multiple times on Broadway and in the UK, and garnered awards and nominations including Olivier Awards, Drama Desk Awards and a Tony nomination, among dozens of others.
