Join us on May 5th at the Black Loyalist Heritage Centre for a Walk for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) — a solemn and powerful opportunity to come together in remembrance, reflection, and solidarity.

This national day of awareness honours the lives of Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit people who have gone missing or been taken too soon. We walk to raise awareness, stand against injustice, and support healing and justice in Indigenous communities.

Participants are encouraged to wear red — a symbol of remembrance and strength.

Let’s walk together to honour the voices that have been silenced, and to stand beside those still seeking justice.
